After months of trying to locate some help, I was pleased that I found Insights Psychology. It was recommended to me by another trusted therapist. I appreciated the prompt attention to my needs.
Dr. Mollie Newhouse met with me a number of times and provided EMDR treatment and counseling. I appreciated her preparedness, empathy, and skills. She then helped me get ART therapy with Dr. Hina Siddiqui.
After a few preliminary sessions, Dr. Siddiqui introduced ART. She helped me process unwanted intrusive thoughts from a trauma in my past. As a result I am able to feel less distress and I feel confident that I can go forward without the weight of so much that has bogged me down.
I recommend Insights Psychology to anyone seeking psychological help.

As a psychiatry provider in a large clinic, unfortunately for as many psychology providers as we have, there are not enough to serve the patients we see. Insights Psychology has been an amazing referral resource for me for both therapy and testing services. Their professionalism makes coordinating care incredibly easy and smooth, and their wide range of therapeutic services can accommodate patients of all age ranges and clinical needs, from pediatric patients to patients on Medicare. Would highly recommend!!

I’ve been having conflicts with my adult daughter on and off for several years. It was to the point that communication had become almost non-existent and typically ended with phone call hang-ups or arguments. The worry and stress I was experiencing was causing great concern and perhaps, inadvertently, affecting my health.
After reading an article re the benefits of therapy, I found Dr. Hina Siddiqui of Insights Psychology. I was hesitant to contact her – did I really need a therapist? Perhaps the problems were all mine. I didn’t think so, but the urge to discuss this with someone was growing. I took the leap… glad I did.
Dr. Siddiqui is a warm, thoughtful professional, wanting and willing to listen. We discussed the issues I wanted re my relationship with my daughter; but we also discussed issues that I hadn’t thought were a problem. Dr. Siddiqui helped me understand that some those issues were childhood traumas. I hadn’t thought of it that way before. I hadn’t connected the dots of those events and the impact they would have on me as I was growing up and later as a mother, wife and grandmother.
After several sessions, I began to understand and accept my past in ways I hadn't before. Internal conflicts became lighter. Worry and stress regarding my daughter are still there; they just no longer take center stage in my life.
I started therapy wanting Dr. Siddiqui to tell me what to do to heal my relationship with my daughter. Instead, her guidance led me to think about my life positives and the possibilities of things I could do that have nothing to do with my daughter. She helped to clarify the options I have in my life and focus on those options. Because of this, I feel I am healing – healing me. Healing me will help heal my relationship with my daughter. My daughter lives in a different state and we are pursuing finding a therapist licensed both here and there.
I believe we all have life events that we just accept as is… that’s the way it is. We move on with little or no further discussion. Deep down inside, that memory is still there. It wants validation and recognition. While we can’t change our past, we can and should talk about it, unashamedly – especially if it causing worry, stress, anxiety, fear or anger in our day to day lives. A qualified therapist at Insights Psychology is an excellent place to start. Did I mention that everything -- sessions, billing and admin -- was all done remotely? Huge plus!
Thank you Dr. Siddiqui.
