Hina Siddiqui, PsyD, ABPP

Professional Experience
Dr. Hina Siddiqui is a board-certified clinical psychologist licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Dr. Siddiqui has been practicing as a psychologist in MN for 16 years. She was licensed in WI in 2021.
As a PSYPACT provider, she has an e-passport and offers telehealth services in 37 states in the United States. Dr. Siddiqui earned board certification in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in 2020.
Professional Interest
Dr. Siddiqui’s professional interests include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for depression and anxiety management, individual psychotherapy for trauma including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), women’s mental health (fertility issues, postpartum depression), and specialized psychological evaluations including forensic assessments.
Dr. Siddiqui has competence in working with diverse populations and ethnic minorities. Dr. Siddiqui is a panelist with Social Security Administration and completes psychological evaluations for disability claimants. Dr. Siddiqui is also a clinical supervisor for post-doctoral residents and doctoral practicum students. Dr. Siddiqui started her private practice, Insights Psychology in 2017
Arshi Muhammad, MD

Dr. Muhammad’s special interest is in working with perinatal clients and the immigrant population. Dr. Muhammad takes a holistic approach in evaluating her clients and takes into account the biological and psychosocial aspects of the patients.
Iris Medini, MD

She completed her residency training in psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Medini is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
She has treated patients in multiple treatment settings including outpatient clinics, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs/inpatient psychiatric units and electroconvulsive therapy.
Professional Interest
Dr. Medini provides individualized care to her patients that is tailored to each person’s symptoms, history, and life circumstances. She listens to her patients and encourages them to participate in planning their individual treatment. She believes that emotional healing is possible, and encourages her patients to engage in therapy, healthy nutrition, and physical activity as much as possible.
She also believes that yoga, meditation, and mindfulness are important practices to achieve overall health and wellbeing.
Amy Carrison, PsyD, LP

In her therapy practice, Dr. Carrison sees a variety of age groups including children (age 6+), adolescents, and adults. She enjoys helping clients learn new skills that can help them achieve the goals they set for themselves. Dr. Carrison works with clients who have depression, anxiety, grief/loss, substance abuse concerns, executive functioning challenges, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder.
Dr. Carrison uses a solution focused, client centered approach that is Cognitive Behavioral based. She also uses other therapy approaches the client may need. Dr. Carrison’s primary goal in therapy is to help clients enhance and develop skills that can be used in daily life settings.
Mollie Newhouse, PsyD, LP

Dr. Newhouse also has a Masters’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Minnesota State University. She has provided clinical services for nine years.

Dr. Newhouse works with teens and adults. Her areas of interest are chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, eating disorders, rehabilitation psychology, adjustment to disability and illness, and psychological evaluations.
Dr. Newhouse utilizes several approaches in her work with clients including CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and Behavioral Activation.
Amy Serna, PsyD, CCW

Dr. Serna also has a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, is a certified crisis worker through the American Association of Suicidology, and has experience providing therapy via telehealth. Dr. Serna has over six years of experience providing supervised clinical services.

Dr. Serna works with individuals ranging across the lifespan, from ages eight to adult. Her areas of interest are helping individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, trauma, severe and persistent mental illness, and substance-use-related issues. She also enjoys helping individuals through psychological testing and evaluations.
Dr. Serna utilizes a Person-Centered framework in her work and incorporates aspects of multicultural, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based approaches to aid her clients in building insight and working with their challenges.
Dr. Serna provides clinical services at Insights Psychology under supervision.

Ms. Hannah Flanery is a post-doctoral resident with Insights Psychology. Hannah completed an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship in the Intertribal Behavioral Health Program at the Nebraska Consortium in Professional Psychology in August 2023. Hannah will be graduating from her doctoral program at the University of South Dakota in October 2023.
Hannah has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from University of South Dakota and has provided supervised clinical services for six years.

Hannah utilizes a Person-Centered approach. Some of the evidenced based therapeutic treatments she provides includeTime Limited Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Ms. Brandt graduated from the clinical social work joint program at Saint Catherine’s University and the University of St. Thomas in August 2011.
She also has a Master of Arts certificate in Holistic Health Studies from Saint Catherine University.

Ms. Brandt utilizes a strengths-based framework and draws from several modalities to treat a wide range of mental health symptoms, and conditions such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. She is a generalist who works with children (ages 8+), adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Shawna Benson, PsyD, LP

Dr. Benson works mostly with adolescents and adults going through life transitions, mental health challenges, addictions (dual issues of substance abuse problems with mental health difficulties), trauma recovery, and relationship struggles.
Dr. Benson uses evidence-based interventions, primarily cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy.

Dr. Mills has been practicing as a licensed psychologist since 2015.
Dr. Mills is a generalist and works with children, adolescents, and adults. She treats a broad range of clinical concerns including: anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma/PTSD, and behavioral concerns.
In addition, she has experience treating individuals affected by a substance use disorder (individuals currently wanting to decrease use, in early recovery, family members, and individuals exposed in utero to substances).

Ms. Lindy Fortin-Case a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with Insights Psychology. She earned her Master of Social Work Degree from University of Tennessee/Nashville in 2004. Ms. Fortin-Case has more than 20 years of experience working with youth, adults, and families. The most recent 15 years of her work experience has been specifically with Veterans in transition and for their suicide prevention.
